A few brown-eyed girls...

Here are a couple pictures of a few of my girls. Glad to see them growing on the inside and out!

Unbelievable Snow!

Leaving snow (along with dear friends and family) was one of the hardest parts about moving from Colorado! We were told several times not to expect too much snow. Would you believe that it has snowed over 8 times this winter but the last few days have been heavenly (if you love snow like we do)! We awoke to over 5 inches of snow two days ago along with loss of electricity, which also means no water since we are on a well. We figured since the area public schools were cancelled, so was ours! We enjoyed the wood stove, snow play, hot cocoa with hot water boiled on the wood stove and games! It really felt like a true day off! Scott had to help the neighbor cut up a tree that had fallen over his driveway. Poor Scott, he just hates to pull out his chainsaw (just kidding:)! By 5pm, we had electricity back, just long enough for us to enjoy a day borrowed from the past. The next morning, we awoke to another 4 inches and the beautiful sun glowing! What fun it was to borrow some snow, if even only in an unexpected storm!

21 weeks and counting...

I figured it was time to catch you up to view on my growing belly! Wow, seeing it on camera...let's just say, I didn't think I looked that big! My body seems to know exactly how to stretch to make room for this new little life. I guess that's what happens when expecting #10! Greatly enjoying the little flutters coming my way, especially all through the night:)! Benjamin doesn't even realize that he is already making room for his little brother or sister as he moves from "baby" to little trotter chasing every ball he can find! Even after being pregnant most of my adult life, I still treasure the privilege of being a safe haven for life to flourish! Can't wait to meet this new little one that God has blessed us with!

Our Very Own TO-MA-TOR!

When we bought our home, a riding lawn mower and an old, thrown together, red-neck looking tractor came with the house. This thing looks like it came straight from the "Cars" movie! We wondered what all it was used for as it had a plow on the front, a tiller strapped to the back and chains on the tires. We were pleasantly surprised to see this old thing not only works but is amazing! It was obviously used to til the garden and move the dirt around. Scott and Casey had a great time tilling our garden and discovering what all this little TO-MA-TOR tractor can do! Lord willing, some day we will have a garden. (I think I can...I think I can...I think I can)!

A few more...

Pictures worth posting...

Do you remember me telling you that the kids had banned me from looking at our pictures right around Christmas? Kaylee and Casey surprised Scott and I with a picture book full of our family pictures. Here are a few that were included.
